Hi, it's great this solution, distributed design has so many difficulties,

just try wait-to-expect or any alternative instead of sleep the cloud will never guaranty the real-time in async design like S3, SQS , SNS

i'm facing the equivalent solution i proposed over 3 stack design to create a platform , so for E2E it's difficult to trust these kind of services
